Made from a white ceramic material, ceramic braces blend in with your natural teeth and are far less noticeable and obtrusive than metal braces. They can also be used on patients for whom aligners aren’t suitable.
First, we’ll take an X-ray of your teeth here at the practice to make sure you’re a suitable candidate for ceramic braces. Once this has been established, you’ll come back to have your ceramic braces fitted and you’ll have to return every few weeks to have them tightened.
As with most orthodontic treatments, we would always recommend wearing a retainer – at least at night – after having your braces removed. This is to stop your teeth moving back to their previous position.
