Dermal fillers are made up of a substance called hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally occurring substance that our skin stops producing as we age and is a common ingredient in skincare. With dermal fillers, hyaluronic acid is injected into a targeted area to help increase the skin’s firmness and elasticity.

How long does the treatment take?

Most patients notice the effects for up to 12 to 18 months after their treatment.

Which products do you use?

Here at Hampstead Dental Studio we use Juvederm®, Teoxane, and Restylane®.

Does it hurt?

Getting dermal fillers shouldn’t cause any pain. We’ll apply a numbing agent to the area being treated to make sure you don’t feel anything.
